U7 HURLING
Well done to our U7 footballers who played Clonmel Og, Commercials and Moyle Rovers in Monroe over the weekend, Thanks to Moyle Rovers GAA for hosting and to all players and coaches. A great display of football by all.
U9 HURLING
Our U-9 hurlers were invited into Páirc na nEalaí for a Blitz against the Swan, Fr.Sheedys and Clonea. We played 3 great games, thanks Carrick Swan GAA club for hosting and to all our players and coaches.
U13 HURLING
Our U13's looked to follow up on their first round win with another strong performance against Ballylooby/Castlegrace in the U13 hurling league. Unfortunately, Ballylooby got the upper hand beating our lads on the night but still some solid displays and work ethic from our lads. The U13's continue their league campaign against Cahir on Tues 1st August at 7.15pm in Grangemockler.
U19 HURLING
On Wednesday 26th July our U19 hurlers faced St. Mary's in the South A hurling championship. Our combination team with Clerihan showed great character and battled right to the end. We have some keys players on the injured list but this group gave it their all and had a number of chances to make St. Mary's sweat before St. Mary's finished 2 goals to the net to close out the game. We now face Killenaule in our next game needing a win for a chance to qualify for the semi final stages of the competition.
JUNIOR B FOOTBALL
Our Junior B footballers kicked off their campaign with their first game against Clonmel Og in the South Championship. In a team full of youth and experience, the lads got the better of the early exchanges in what was a physical encounter.

MICHAEL HOGAN COMMUNITY FIELD
There was work carried out on our community field last week to help with maintenance and drainage. Money was spent on sanding and spiking (machine pictured below) the field which looks in great condition since the work was completed. Our lotto supports the maintenance of the field and we would ask you to buy some tickets to help us continue to develop and maintain the community field.
