The future of Grangemockler/Ballyneale would appear to be in good hands when you see how well our young stars are doing outside of the club scene. Our juvenile and adult teams are back in action in the last few weeks but it is fantastic to see a number of players performing well and winning with their schools.

In recent days, James O'Meara captained his ERRS Carrick on Suir senior football team to victory over Colaiste Phobal Roscrea, on a score line of 1:13 to 0:09. James has recently stepped up to adult grades in our club and is an example for any young player who is willing to learn and make that jump. Well done to ERRS Carrick, James and all his teammates on this fantastic win having faced defeat on the same pitch last year.

In the same week, the High School Clonmel were victorious in the U15 A county final where they defeated the Abbey CBS in what was a brilliant performance on the day. Our very own Patrick Lyons was flying the flag for the club as they team lifted the county A cup. Patrick is a player who is putting huge work in to continue to improve his game and it's great to see this hard work paying off. Well done to the High School, Patrick and all of his team mates on a great win.

A number of our young stars played in Cumann a mBunscoil recently with Grangemockler NS and Ballyneale NS. Well done to Grangemockler N.S. and Ballyneale NS who put in fantastic performances and represented their school and clubs with great games. Brilliant work being done with the boys and girls in Granegmockler/Ballyneale GAA and it's super to see it transfer into the school scenes.
